Smallholder’s Empowerment
Skills and Knowledge Enhancement
CPOPC is committed to enhancing the welfare of palm oil smallholders and fostering cooperation in oil palm cultivation. In line with this mandate, CPOPC launched the Smallholders Outreach Program (SOP) in 2019, pioneering the International Smallholder Workshop (ISW). Since then, CPOPC embarked on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) Training starting 2025 focused on empowering smallholders in member countries. This initiative facilitates knowledge exchange, strengthens capacity in sustainability practices, and promotes the adoption of GAPs to improve smallholders’ welfare and productivity.

Amplifying Smallholder’s Voice
By gathering life stories from smallholders across continents, CPOPC builds a tapestry of resilience, innovation, and hope. “Our publication, Our Stories, Our Lives, Our Future” compiles 25 firsthand accounts from 15 countries, documenting practical innovations by smallholders, women and youth leaders, community cooperatives, and conservation partnerships. These stories elevates voices that often unheard, transforming lived experience into an advocacy tool that resonates far beyond the plantation. It anchors policy debates in human realities, reminding audiences that policies should anchored on realities. Through vivid narratives, readers meet the farmers who nourish global markets.
