Hon. Francis Galia Maneke

Hon. Francis Galia Maneke currently serves as the Minister for Oil Palm of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea. He has held this position since 2019, playing a key role in shaping national policies and programs to strengthen Papua New Guinea’s oil palm sector and promote sustainable agricultural development.

Prior to his ministerial appointment, Hon. Maneke served as the Governor for West New Britain Province, where he championed initiatives to enhance infrastructure, rural livelihoods, and local economic growth.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying from the Papua New Guinea University of Technology. Before entering politics in 2017, he was a private businessman, gaining extensive experience in land development and resource management.

Hon. Maneke continues to contribute actively to advancing the oil palm industry as a key driver of inclusive and sustainable growth in Papua New Guinea.
