YBhg Dato’ Yusran Shah Bin Mohd Yusof
YBhg. Dato’ Yusran Shah bin Mohd Yusof is the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities, Malaysia since May 2024. Prior to this appointment, YBhg. Dato’ Yusran Shah served in various positions at the Economic Planning Unit, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Ministry of Education.
Throughout his career, YBhg. Dato’ Yusran Shah has held significant roles, such as Senior Private Secretary to the Minister of Education, Senior Consultant in the Public Sector Transformation Division, Under Secretary of the Security Division in the Ministry of Home Affairs, and Deputy Under Secretary in various departments. He also contributed to numerous special assignments, including as the Secretary of the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Discovery of Temporary Detention Camps and Graves in Wang Kelian, Perlis in 2019. YBhg. Dato’ Yusran Shah has participated in various national and international conferences, panels, and delegations related to national security and public service transformation.
YBhg. Dato’ Yusran Shah holds a Bachelor of Economics with Honors from the University of Malaya (1993) and a Master's in International Studies from the International University of Japan (2006). He is also a member of the International University Niigata, Japan Alumni Association.
