Hon. Dida Gardera, S.T., M.Sc

Hon. Dida Gardera is currently serving as the Senior Advisor for Connectivity and Service Sector at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. In October 2023, he was appointed as the Deputy Minister For Food and Agribusiness. Prior this, Honourable Dida served at various positions such as Expert Staff for Connectivity, Services and Natural Resources Development, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs and Assistant Deputy for Agriculture, Pharmaceuticals, and Tourism.

He was a member of the Committee for COVID-19 Handling and National Economic Recovery (KPCPEN), especially in the COVID-19 vaccination program. In addition, he was involved in drafting the Job Creation Law (UUCK) for the environment and forestry sectors, as well as handling climate change issues, especially the development of carbon trading including managing international cooperation programs.

Honourable Dida Gardera studied Environmental Engineering at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). He obtain an M.Sc. in Social Policy and Planning at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2002.
